I landed a software engineering job out of college doing interactive 3d environments for VR, kit-bashing 3D models, data visualization and designing products for R&D until the company went under. My portfolio consists of shaders, procedural environment systems, voxel-based physics systems, 3D modeling, sound, etc. I have also written many tools for use in Unity to bypass clunk or to create my own core architecture for projects. But my expertise is in interactivity, procedural generation/animation, simulation/systems and UI/UX.</p> <p>Backend work is grueling for me and networking has always eluded my understanding.</p> <p>I have no mentors, and my contacts are all animation majors. </p> <p>What jobs exist out there for me? Any suggestions would be values.
